Behavioural intelligence for the 65+ economy

Know what actually works with older adults.

Comprenda is building the intelligence system for companies that serve the 65+ market,a living body of knowledge grounded in what older adults encounter, say, choose and actually do.

Use it to make better decisions across advertising, digital experiences, customer journeys, conversations and AI. And unlike a research report, Comprenda keeps learning.

101,026 recorded hours of senior conversation. Built on behaviour, not personas.

The bigger idea

The 65+ economy shouldn’t have to
start from zero.

Every agency brief starts over. Every survey starts over. Every new CMO starts over. Every model starts from generic internet data. Meanwhile the decisions get made on fragments.

Surveys that capture what people say.

Panels that miss parts of the population.

Analytics that capture clicks but not why.

Conversations that disappear after the call.

Models trained to produce plausible people.

Business outcomes that live somewhere else entirely.

Comprenda is connecting those fragments into an accumulating behavioural record of how older adults actually decide. Scale tells us what happened. Real people help us understand why. Experiments tell us what changes it. And every resolved question makes the system better at asking the next one.

Comprenda is the layer that remembers.

Every important decision about an older customer should start with what is already known about older customers. Today, remarkably, it does not.

Where being right stops

AI can answer almost anything.
The harder problem is knowing which conclusions the evidence actually supports.

The dangerous answer is not always fabricated. Sometimes every fact in it is true and the conclusion is still wrong. A proxy read as the outcome, one population read as another, last year’s evidence read as this year’s decision. Fluent prose hides the missing step.

What is actually known? Not what sounds right.

What was it measured on? Which people, which channel, which period.

How far does it travel? And what it does not establish.

What decision does it support now? Equally decisive, without the unsupported leap.

Answers are cheap. Knowing which ones survive reality is not.

Comprenda remembers not just the answer but exactly what the answer was an answer to, population, channel, outcome, time, unit, evidence type, and refuses to let a finding mean more than it was measured to mean.

From message to outcome

Marketing gives you signals.
Comprenda connects them to reality.

Clicks tell you what caught attention. Surveys tell you what people say. Conversations reveal what people ask, resist, clarify and choose. Business outcomes tell you what actually happened.

Every expensive communication decision has confident opinions attached and no way to settle them. Which cut to air. Which disclosure to use. Which message leads the page. What to say after the objection. Comprenda finds the ones worth resolving, turns them into controlled variation, verifies what was actually delivered, and grades the result on the outcome you are paid for.

The join changes the answer.

Think you understand the 65+ customer?

Pick the three things you’d most
want to hear on a sales call.

Every one of these happened on a real call, and every one is joined to whether that person’s enrollment settled in the client’s own feed. Pick the three you would most want to hear. It takes about a minute, and the ordering that comes back is not the one call scoring assumes.

Pick the three states you would most want to hear on a call.

0 of 3 chosen

And the apparent winner fooled us too.

The state at the top of that raw table looked remarkable, so we tried to break it. It did not survive. A matched placebo phrase reproduced the same rate, and the branches that genuinely implied another person had joined settled at or below the base rate. What looked like a discovery was a call-length statistic.

You can be fooled by intuition. A model can be fooled by plausibility. We can be fooled by a correlation. That is why the answer gets tested.

Observed, not causal. These rates show what happened on calls where each state appeared. What someone says marks the call they were in; causing them to say it would not necessarily change the outcome. How we tried to break this result →

This is why Comprenda exists

You guessed. We measured.

That is the difference between knowing what sounds right for older adults and knowing what the evidence says. You just read twelve things real older customers said, and the obvious answers were not the valuable ones. Comprenda can make that comparison at a scale most brands cannot, because the evidence underneath it connects real senior behaviour to what happened afterwards.

The behavioural record
101,026 recorded hours
Of senior conversation, across the environments where this evidence system was developed. Senior ground truth means real observed behaviour, joined to an authoritative outcome where one exists — recorded is not transcribed and transcribed is not outcome-labelled, so every result reports its own denominator.
What you need to send us
The marketing
No senior panel to build. No customer database to hand over. No six-month study. Your data can make the answer more specific to your business later. It is not required to get started.

Start with the marketing itself. Proprietary response, conversion or retention data can take the answer further later. It is not what switches the system on.

Comprenda knows older customers before it knows your brand.

Where Comprenda starts

Deepest where the decision is consequential
and the customer is older.

Comprenda is deepest today in consequential decisions involving older customers, especially regulated and high-consideration categories where communication can be tied to a real outcome. Built on an unusually deep record of older-customer decisions: 101,026 recorded hours across the environments where the method was first developed, joined where authoritative outcomes are available.

Senior acquisition

Medicare, prescription services, final expense, medical alert.

High-consideration purchases decided in one conversation, where the outcome is an enrolment that has to hold and the conversation is regulated on the way there. This is where the record is deepest and where every published finding was graded.

AI agents and speech

Any model that talks to an older adult by phone.

Two-channel calls let the older adult and the agent be scored separately on the same line. The senior voice eval publishes how well each speech engine hears the older adult, on the same sealed calls, joined to what settled.

Also on the record

Pharmaceutical television, hospital indemnity, home and auto cover, personal injury.

Evidence exists in each. We take on a decision there only when the record can carry it, and we say so first.

Outside these categories we start by asking whether the evidence base is strong enough to support the decision. If it is not, we tell you before we recommend one.

One customer, many places to succeed or fail

Advertising creates an expectation.
Everything after it has to carry one.

A television spot sets one up. A landing page has to hold it. An email or a mail piece repeats it. A conversation clarifies it, or undoes it. The eventual outcome tells you what mattered.

Advertising
TV, streaming, video, print, direct mail, read as delivered, not as scripted.
Digital experiences
Websites, landing pages, search, email, SMS. Where the expectation is either carried or lost.
Customer conversations
Sales, service, contact centres and AI agents. Where a decision is usually actually made.
Enrolment and onward
Onboarding, member communication, renewal. Where a conversion becomes a customer, or does not.
The outcome
Conversion, revenue, retention, customer value. The thing the rest of it is judged against.

Each environment needs its own instrument, and a finding does not automatically travel from one to another, evidence from one channel tells us what is worth asking in another, not what the answer is there.

Different channels require different measurements. Comprenda keeps them inside one accumulating senior-intelligence system.

What people say is only part of the record

What people say and what they do
are different records.

What people say is useful. What they do completes the record.

This is not an argument that surveys are worthless. It is an argument for joining the evidence. We froze 17 business conclusions from stated evidence alone, then opened what those same people did. Five held. Four reversed. Eight disappeared. Stated evidence wasn’t useless. It was incomplete.

Answers change

A research report ends.
Customer behaviour doesn’t.

Walking a dated record forward through later evidence, 19 of 52 first verdicts were contradicted by the next decisive window. Not because the original answers were careless. Because markets move, messages change and customers change.

So every conclusion keeps its time, population, channel and context attached, and can be marked supported, changed, retired or needing a recheck. A retired finding is still intelligence.

Your organisation gets a memory, not a pile of reports.

Built from real behaviour

A behavioural record large enough to find questions
conventional research would never know to ask.

Recorded conversation with older adults
101,026 hours
Across the environments where the system was built, at every stage of the customer journey. The first contact, the decision itself, and what happened afterwards. Behind the hours: 24.2 million contacts, 4.5 million in which the older adult spoke. And beside them 56 published senior-survey instruments and 243 distinct research sources.
What that figure is
Scale, not a rate
Recorded hours describe the size of the behavioural record. Individual analyses use their own eligible populations and outcomes, and the two legs are never summed into one denominator.

Scale is not the answer. It is what lets us find better questions.

One reason the join matters

What people say is useful.
What they do can change the conclusion.

Before opening the outcome, we froze 17 business conclusions from stated evidence alone. Then we opened what those same people actually did.
